The purpose of this study is to propose a practical stress analysis method of concrete slab in a multistory building considering shrinkage, creep and construction sequence. Axial stresses due to shrinkage are calculated by the elastic stress analysis converting shrinkage strains into initial strain loads or equivalent temperature gradients.
